At this Key West Bed and Breakfast there are many rooms from which to choose. This tropical B and B consists of a mansion, a guesthouse, an inn and historic cottages, all housed on one large property known as Simonton Court Historic Inn & Cottages. Sparkling pools, brick walkways and lush landscaping surround the historic cottages built in 1880.  While right in the heart of Old Town, just one block off of Duval Street, the luxuriant private gardens keep the grounds quiet and hidden. From a recent visitor from Sanibel FL: Simonton Court Historic Inn and Cottages exceeded our expectations.
We just spent 3 wonderful days at Simonton Court and we could not have been more pleased. You feel the ambiance as soon as you enter the door on Simonton to a beautiful walkway full of plants and trees. Little cottages are in this area with pools located in different areas. The main pool is located in front of the mansion where breakfast is presented every morning at 8:30 with Ice water, Tea and fruit available all day. Nice touch. All rooms have a verandah or porch facing the garden, pool or street, so you can choose whatever situation that is pleasing to you. The lanterns are left on throughout the gardens all night - appreciative of this since we departed at 5:30am. We stayed in the ORCHID. King size bed, fridge - huge bathroom with old-fashioned claw tub. Completely renovated and all very old Florida, especially the oversize porch with lovely furniture overlooking Eaton Street. Huge tropical trees give you privacy but you can still sit out and watch all the activity. We chose this Key West bed and breakfast for the location - fell in love with Simonton Court and will stay here again.
 
The official hurricane season begins June first and ends November thirtieth, with the statistical peak landing in the first half of September. In the unlikely event that a hurricane evacuation is ordered while you are or scheduled to be a guest at our Key West Bed and Breakfast and you have not purchased travel insurance, you will be issued a voucher for your deposit. This voucher will be good for good for two years from issue date and may be used as a deposit towards your next visit to SImonton Court Historic Inn and Cottages within the ensuing two years.
No voucher will be issued if the hurricane is not a threat to Key West and you are unable to travel because of canceled flights or adverse travel conditions outside the Keys. We strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance, which if purchased in advance will cover accommodation losses and travel expenses due to weather including hurricanes.
